Test it first!

It’s tempting isn’t it…you’ve worked out which size, you’ve cut it out and you just want to start sewing! It might feel a bit tedious but at this stage it is worth using offcuts of your fabric to test out some of the processes you will be using to complete your garment. Here are the ones I tried out before starting to sew a dry oilskin version of my tweed coat pattern.
